Southern Elephant Seal
Sea Lion Island, Falkland Islands

Some of youmay have seen this on another site but I had to post it for this weeks motif. On Sea Lion island, we would have at least 2 hours of shooting time before breakfast and I usually spent it on the beach with the elephant seals. It was quite an entertaining way to start the day.

Terrific shot. Great pose. The specks of fresh blood suggest a bit more than singing has transpired!

Oh, Cheryl, this is so good! I just wish the islands weren't so difficult to travel to and from. I'd be there in a flash. Well, some day I'll still do it.

It's Sonny & Cher singing "I got you, Babe!"

A terrific image! Love those pink open mouths. Must have been a lot of fun to see.

What a fun shot Cheryl! I can hear them singing now, "And a partridge in a pear tree..." Great image of some Christmas carolers. :)
