"Ohh nummy, nummy, scuba diver!"

Mature Blue Ribbon Eel. These guys try to grab anything that swims close to their hole....good thing they're only half an inch wide! A note of interest, the eels are born all male and with a black body that turns this beautiful blue. As they mature then they turn all yellow and female.

Hi Jill,

Currently, he's a mature male eel. The coloration gradually spreads and the eel turns all yellow, but not sure when the actual "switch" takes place :shock:
