When I view some of the posts I'm now seeing the entire image is made up of very noticeable squares. I just downloaded a accelerator program from my internet provider that is suppose to compress files for quicker downloading. The speed has picked up tremendously (billed as 5x) but I'm not happy with this side effect. Does this sound right? :?: :?: :?:

Most of the posts looked normal.

Yup! What you are doing is compressing the already compressed JPEGs and this results in blocky photos. AOL does this by default and you actually have to find it and shut it off in some arcane menu. In your case, the accelerator program has done this. If you think about it, this makes total sense. There's no free lunch - if you want acceleration of info to your screen you have to drop some of the info.
