I love this experience--but especially in golden light...
Image
Make Canon
Model EOS 10D
Flash Used No
Focal Length 420 mm (300mm f/2.8L+1.4x)
Exposure Time 1/350 sec
Aperture f/8
ISO Equivalent 100

Can't believe I actually used that word...motif...sounds like an overpriced drink.

WOW. Nice light! The pose is great too. It looks like you had the perfect time to spend with this beautiful animal and having the camera was a big bonus.

Excellent! Seeing and hearing elk bugle is one of natures thrilling spectacles. You caught this one beautifully.

Hey Dick,

The image looks pretty soft to me .. I'm not sure if that can be a monitor issue, as no one else has mentioned it.

The bull feels a little tight in the frame for me.

Cheers

Wonderful pose and great light. Love the almost-worn look on the antlers. Might take just a bit more USM.
