Motif: Running Whitetail Buck

Whitetail Deer (Odocoileus virginianus)
Shenandoah National Park

10D, 100-300 f4.5-5.6, ISO 400, f5.6, 1/60, tripod.
Cropped (~20%), levels, USM.

As I mentioned in a previous post, this buck did a lot of running that night. You can see from the open mouth that he was starting to breathe really hard. This was the best of the shots where I tried to really blur the background.

Comments/critiques/suggestions welcome. Thanks for looking.

This could not be better imho.. The head, rack, body and tail is sharp, with movement present in the legs and background from panning. I like the oranges in the background. Looks like a watercolor painting.. Excellent motif contribution.. Thanks for posting..
