Welcome to the Flora/Macro forum Nicolas, and you sure started out with a nice one!! :)

Excellent composition, wonderful detail, and nice exposure all around on this one.
Love those little hairs standing up on its back and head, and if there were only one thing I would like to see it would be that the light on the head was just a tad lighter, or brighter. But that is only a minor thing!

Personally, .................... I love it!
Just wished that I could find one that would sit still like this for me!!

Keep on sending them in Nicolas, as we all love viewing them.
Excellent first post in this forum!!

Welcome to NSN. Very nice shot. I too really like the hairs standing up. For me, the comp works better with some taken off the bottom-as more of a pano. I look forward to seeing more of your images.

I agree with the previous comments. Terrific image and welcome. I think that the panoramic crop (800x400 pixels) would work well with this image.

Very nice, Nicolas. Good job getting the details and paralleling the damselfly's body. This does appear to be one of the Bluet Damselflies, not a dragonfly. Well done!
