My photographs aim at being true, not at being beautiful because, what is true is most often beautiful.

What's the clue to the "impending snow"?

i'll leave the question about "the clue" unanswered for now just to see if others can find the clue.

I assume the dark clouds in the BG foretell the impending snow.

I'll also go with the dark clouds. Add to that the dead apples on the ground plus the fallen (and since scattered) leaves. These tell me that fall has been around for some time and snow is inevitable.

Mark,

I see a Bear has hibernated in the tree in the foreground! So I guess that would suggest, snow is on the way.
