Bloom from a "poke salad" plant.

Peeping through the foliage again with the lens, and finding different comps is always lots of fun. Lots of surprises along the way too!
This is a single bloom that was standing off from the rest of the blooms and on its way to making seed.

Cool shot. It's like looking through a green window.

I really like this Michael. The color combination is what really catches my eye. You've got that little peek of pink on the bloom that is nice. I would guess the green in the BG was other plants but what is the blue in the foreground?

Thanks Mary!
That bit of blue that you see is from another leaf that has a green/blue coloring to it, and I have noticed that when the light hits it just right it can almost have a pure blue look.
I try to stay away from those blueish looking leaves. Just a personal thing on my part, as they are not my favorites.

Thanks again Mary, and have a great Thanksgiving holiday this week!

Not one of my favorites of yours but I appreciate your exploration. A unique presentation and what matters is the desire to explore intriguing and alternate ways of showing the familiar.
