This was a closeup to start but for this I have done even a closer crop. Other than that it hasn't been altered much except for some despeckling and some USM. I like the elegant curve and flow of the calla leaf and am not sure I have been able to capture that with this crop or not. Thanks for looking and always like to hear your thoughts.

I like photos of leaves, and this one is really nice. I think you did an excellent job of showing the flow. It looks like it's underwater. Very nice.

Wonderful color and comp Mary, but it is the lines that grab me in the way that they flow throughout and how the blend of color just flows right along with them.
A good shot of a richly colored green leaf is always appealing, just like this one!! :)

Soft, poetic and somehow intimate.

I like it!

I absolutely love this shot!!! The greens are excellent, the diagonal composition is great and it ha a sensuousness to it.

Thanks for the comments. They are, as always, greatly appreciated.

E.J. I have started converting my images to sRGB before saving for web and it seems to make a real difference in the color presentation. This was suggested to me by Dennis Olivero (I think I may have read about this too somewhere but it never sunk in) as I had been having concerns about loss of saturation in my posted images. So that explains the great greens. A simple solution for me that I wish I had figured out awhile ago. :)

Mary, I think you did very well at capturing the elegant curves and lines, as well as the vivid green.

I really love this. The delicate curves and textures are just lovely as is the composition.
