I like the simplicity of this. It ran across my mind that the little weeds are looking up at this statuesque one in hopes of becoming "all grown up!"

I have only recently discovered Tom just how much beauty is to be found in "weeds". This is a wonderful example of someone taking there time and actually seeing the possibilities and making it happen with their camera.

Wonderful colors and composition, and the depth is fabulous.
I do wish that the one weed/seed head at the bottom was a tad more OOF as my eye seems to keep going to it, but still it does not take away from a excellent image that this one truly is!

Keep on sending them Tom!

Very nice, with a warm monochromatic feel. The background is wonderful, and really shows off the one in focus. I like this one.

Very nicely made image. i've not looked at bergamot much other than while in bloom. Thanks for opening my eyes to a different aspect.

Very nice - clean and simple!

I like that the detailed FG is reflected in the OOF BG.

This is nice Tom. I just really like it when I can see more of the main subject in the background like this. It really creates an atmosphere for me and identifies the environ. Warm tones are comforting.

The beautiful warm tones on this one really give it an earthy late autumn feeling. I like the varying degrees of focus in the seed stalks in the background and the way that they echo the lines of the sharply focused bergamont stalk. This photo would be nice as a framed print too.
