I really like how the angle of the wings mimmicks the angle of the blossoms. The lower portion is a little dark, but I really like the repetition of line.

I think Matt hit it right on about the repetition of the lines. Really nice colors in this, too.

Very nice. I like the lines too and only wish that the light were more even across the bottom of the shot. Very nice image of a rare skipper in my area.

I also like the repetition of lines with the blossoms and the angle of the wings of the skipper. Great light. The only thing is the OOF diagonal stem in the lower left corner is a little distracting.

Very interesting photo, Harvey. I have not seen a Skipper like this one where I live. The ones that I see here look like the one in my photo of a few days ago. I can see the similarities in this species when compared with mine. Over all, I think this photo is very nicely done. The lines are great and I like the positioning of the flowers and butterfly in the frame. Colors are very nice. I do wish that the stem at the bottom was not there, but sometimes, these things can't be avoided and if these guys are like the ones here, they don't sit still for very long.
