Tunnel View, Yosemite Valley, CA
Canon 10D, EF28-135IS@28mm, ISO 800, f/16, 1/160s

Took this around sunrise at the classic 'tunnel view' location. Hardly an original shot, but I like the foggy setting. Since this was largely monochrome from the start, I converted it to BW. Unfortunately I forgot to change the ISO setting from the previous night... Luckily the 10D behaves remarkably well even at this speed.

Honest critique appreciated. Please hammer on. Reposts welcome.

Awesome shot - very well done! If it were an Ansel it would be overly contrasty though

I have looked at this several times over the past few days! I'm really trying to develop a greater appreciation for B&W photography. I've almost always preferred things in living color. That being said, I think this is a truly wonderful image. I actually find the lack of color leaves me free to take in all the shapes, textures, and details. The fog is really amazing.
