On the photo safaris that I co-lead with Todd Gustafson to Kenya and Tanzania we use only open-hatched safari vehicles, three photographers to a van. Photographing from an open window is way too tough for me. At times, we drop down to photograph from an open window with a beanbag to gain a lower perspective. We use a Todd-Pod with our Wimberley heads so that we can easily do flight and action. If you are interested in learning about a Todd-Pod, please e-mail me for details.

Thanks for all of your kind comments. I am with the zebra-lovers, adds to the ambience in a non-distracting way. Best and love to all, artie

Excellent work Artie. Nice mood and action. I am a little disappointed that you did not get the vulture and horizon parallel  I hope to make it back to Africa some day. It is a neat place.

Excellent. Nice contrast with the blue sky and tan grass with the bird place in front of that grass.
