A follow up to my post a couple days back and Pasquales post yesterday. This is the full blown adult as shot in the Masai Mara one afternoon. Not the best shot or perch but just to show the whole bird and it's markings.

D2x, 200-400VR, x1.7 @650mm, ISO 200, f8, 1/600, Beanbag support

It is a great looking bird. Personally i'd like more of a profile. Nice shot regardless.

Very nice shot and, in my eyes, a beautifull perch. This is the male of the species as the female has some white in the wing.
