Lovely details and very sharp too! :wink: I would suggest a vertical crop as the BG is a bit busy.

Love the setting and fall colors as well as the pose. A grouse on a clean perch with clean background would look way out of place to me. Grouse are getting all too scarce around here :(

A gorgeous shot in habitat. The branch across its tail is unfortunate but it all works together well with the colors and great light.

Tough bird in nice light and it has a great feel of the forest
Love the habitat and I would not crop the shot
