A few members have commented about my avarta. So I decided to post the picture. This picture was was used as front cover to a publication on my bird photography in a weekend magazine recently. It was taken with my 10d and 400mm F5.6 lens

Shutter speed: 1/200 sec
Aperture: 5.6
Exposure mode: Av
Flash: On
Metering mode: Multi-segment
ISO: 100

Love the alert tail position and colorful bg. Wish it was looking this way though.

I just love this little bird. Makes me want to book a flight to Australia! As mentioned, this would be better if he was looking this way but still a great shot Perry!

A lovely shot ...
No wonder it makes it to become a cover shot as well as your avarta, Perry!

Thanks Kim,

I actually have one that looks this way but I guess I have to wait 48 hours to post that one and come to think of it, it does look good as well, maybe better :)

Besides the mentioned head position, my only wish here is for a vertical comp.
