One wild looking bird John. I like the leaves on the ground which pick up the color in the grouse's tail and eyebrow. 8)

Sharp, detailed, and perfect. I like the background but not thrilled with the foreground. Is it a road?

Not exactly a road Jeff...more like a dirt trail. I tried to hit it with the low angle, but obviously didn't succeed :? :)

This guy is really cool! love that eyebrow. The backround is a little too bright and it draws to much attention away from the subject....maybe a give it a pass of blurring too, I think would make this guy stand out a lot more. A bit more room at the tail and bottom.Where was this taken? I think your low angle is fine.
