from my last visit to Bosque in 2004. The moon was full and the day before I had missed my ideal moon and snow geese image and I was frustrated. After missing the geese shots, we went to the crane ponds and got a few shots of the cranes and the moon.
Perhaps next trip I can do better. I did get one shot with a crane across the moon, but not exactly what I wanted. This is just a line and the moon.

I am guessing this is with either a D60 or D20

Steven,

You posted this just as I posted my Mag Frig and Moon (but my moon is not posted). This is a real nice image. I lucked into shooting the cranes and the moon last year and got one centered right on the moon but not as a line so will have to post that one sometime.

I like the green sky. It is kind of other-worldy. I would like to see the moon whiter though.

This doesn't work too well for me. It sets a nice mood but I think the cranes are too far away to have any real impact. All the techs are right on.

Neat image. I would crop some off the top and right side to put the moon more off center and make the birds just a bit larger.

The composition bothers me on this one :?

I don't know what it is, but it just doesn't sit well with me, Steve. Sorry I can't be of much more help. Its a cool shot nonetheless.

I like the shot itself but the colors are a bit weird.
