Very unusual shot and I like it as it shows the interaction nicely - well done! I would consider cropping it as tight as possible as the birds are a bit small in the frame and far apart.

I have done a quick photoshop on your pic to see what it looks like, if you want it removed then dont hesitate to ask.

I am gutted, I was in Hong Kong about 4 weeks ago! I have only ever seen an osprey once here in England.

Wd Dave, love the interesting with the Osprey calling out to the Harrier. It's a shame that you've only seen one Osprey while in the UK. It makes me worried that the birding life isn't that great there and that I'll be disappointed while I'm over there.

Nice interaction, but I'm with Ofer, the birds are just a bit small in the frame..

Ideally I'd like to see a shorter distance between these two birds but this is a great capture nonetheless, Angus!
A tight crop would surely improve this shot even further ...

Good Motif Shot Angus. I always happy with one raptor in the frame. Two interacting is a huge bonus.

Excellent interaction. Although they are small in the frame, it is clear that they are looking right at each other. It would be improved by cropping from the top

Beautiful capture. Regarding the size of the birds and their spacing: You have to take them as they occur. This is a great interaction shot, showing the way the event happened.
Outstanding.

I think the original is fine cropping wise. David's crop is as close as I would take it. If you take more off the top, the top bird would look too close to the edge of the photo. The birds are small in this shot on the web, but would look fine printed large, say as 11x14.

Neat intereaction, your timing was right on. Just too much negative space between them.
