Stayed up too late last night and played around with this. Used several filters including some Flaming Pear, some Photoshop art filters, and also a demo called BuzzX, which is from the makers of ArtMaster. Had lots of fun.

The original can be found in the Birds forum.

Sorry I've not been around here much lately, work deadlines, and probably for a few more weeks. Wonderful creations going on in here -- I always find time to peek!

Your comments are always appreciated.

Great starting image and the effects you have used have converted it into almost an etched effect. Love it. More please!!!

Great job on this one Christina! I agree with Colin - it has almost an etched effect but whatever it is works beautifully with your original shot to produce a lovely artwork. This would make a great design for a tapestry! :) 8) :D

Hi Christina
An image I find very pleasing and easy upon the eye, or in short I love it.

Very nicely done Christina. Theres a nice glow in the original that has also carried over and shows in this. These are quite puffed up birds, amazing to see for a non avian-holic :D . Nice texture applied.

All the best Christina, well done :) :D

Beautifully done! You also have some stunning bird photos on your website, esp. the dowitcher bathing, wow! :)
