Night Heron & Repost

Took a scan of a slide of a night heron from Estero Lagoon and ran it through the digital darkroom sink. Here is the result

You have two distinct collections Mike - first we had the vibrant colours and now we have the soft and delicate greens and whites. Almost like High Summer as opposed to Spring. Love them all and this is a realy beauty!! :) 8) :D

Another marvelous watercolor image, Mike. I do have a suggestion on this one, however. I don't think the tail of the bird should be washed out by your otherwise wonderful border effect -- makes it look a bit less "real" as a painting.

really nice image -- and I very much like the painterly light border original

I think what Christina had in mind was dark tail feathers like the repost, over the light border of the original. (perhaps you could just pop the repost layer over the original and lightly erase the repost except the tail...)
