I've been watching with awe all of the amazing images posted in this forum. DC is not really my thing, but you all have inspired me to take a stab at it. I played around with one of my bird images and here is what I came up with. It reminds me of an illustration from a fairy tale book I had when I was a child. i hope you like it.

I like the simplified lines of the bird, and layered feathers nice bg treatment too...
