Palm Cockatoo Probosciger atterimus

My first post in the bird forum on Naturescapes. I took this image at Chilli beach in Iron Range NP, which is located on the remote Cape York peninsula, the only place I found I could get anywhere within 100m of these birds. They come in here to feed on the Pandanus nuts are seem to be used to people being around the camping area. Some of you may have seen this on another forum some time back. The shot is primarily flash lit as the bird was in deep shade on a partly overcast day.

Taken with a Canon T90 + 500mm f4.5L with 300TL and BB. About 1/60 @ f4.5 on Reala. All comments welcome.

This web page has a recording of it's call:

What a spectacular bird with that crest and the color. I like the way you've handled the flash here.
