Some say the ocean wanted to be a woman.
It commanded the power of emotion,
some pearls for tears, coral for strenght,
seafoam for lightness, waves for change,
mixed it with sand, light and some loving
and the mermaid was born... ...

This is one of my first Dcs, when I discovered I could draw with Liquify, and for some reason, it never got posted. Hue/Sat, Light effects with texture and Polar Coordinates, all in PS.

Comments appreciated :)

Sweet lighting effect here, Fab. I also like the tile look -- wouldn't this be cool done in mosaic tiles on a wall?

At first I thought that this looked like a polarized micrograph of a mineral, then a plant stem and finally a mosaic floor. The figure looks a little like the Roman God Mercury to me. Excellent!
