The electric garden...
Image
Just messing around... it lost a bit of color in the edges going to jpg. I had to set the Quality to 45% to
get under 120k... must be all those dots, but I liked their metallic look!

A most interesting design Gary. Really holds the eye. Almost like Steve's Mohlerized images. :)

Great image Gary!! I love the way you've combined the geometric shapes with the softer, flower contours and then sprinkled the fairy dust! :) 8) :D

Cool image.Very impressive indeed.

Just an FYI that we stopped using the 120K limit about a year ago. You can now size images up to 140K. :)

thx for the clarification Greg -- I had been using 140k until I saw a recent announcement in F/M which mentioned the 120k limit, and when I checked the upload info it too mentioned 120k. Glad to know that I hadn't been an outlaw all this time

Thanks Gary, there is obviously some confusion on this issue but the official word is that the integrated upload allows 140K.

The old upload, which is still in operation, was designed and programmed by someone else and we haven't been able to get that changed so it remains at 120K only for that reason, as its built into the code. Most people use the integrated upload feature these days and when we designed it we made the decision to go to 140K at that time in order to allow a little room to grow and because we know that the more detailed images can use the extra space.

Greg - I used the integrated upload exclusively until last week when some weirdness between the integrated upload and my system cropped up. I used the old system as a backup at Heather's suggestion. I have a workaround for the integrated upload now so my posts will be back at 140k. Glad that you're able to keep the system growing! - Gary
