This one osprey shot taken at sunrise was underexposed as he was flying from the direct light to the backlight. I brought out the details using shadow/highlight level adjustments as well as the exposure plug in in lucisart. It was too noisy for a regular image, but noisy enough for parrothead pete's digital art directory....

I added a layer of lucisart wyath and watercolor; and the acid wash filter in autofx edges; and some texture. The acid wash really made it work and kind of allows you to forgive the noisy detail in the bird...

Carol, here in South Florida, we don't get those little roaches you probably see there in Europe; here, the roaches, called Palmetto Bugs, are the size of volkswagons and actually fly.... :o

Florida men are relegated to killing these bugs at the request of their wives/girlfriends.... at my house, I've heard screams reminiscent of Nightmare on Elmstreet fare, made by my wife because of these roaches. I of course, have to track it down and kill it with my slippers. Pick it up and flush it.

Sorry to gross you out, but it's part of life down here.... :P

You sure are saving some from the bin for sure Mike. Its the sort of thing we would never know, unless you said M8t. Another excellent result Mike and these birds are a strong looking bird, a bit like your eagles, powerful and when caught in flight like this, majestic.

All the best Mike, another stunner mate :) :)
