A discus fish, mohlerized, from a friends aquarium years ago. I have about 300 mohlerized images, but only scanned a few.
This is one of the most spectacular fresh water fishes. I will post a close up later.
Addition- I just remembered what I did with this. I had velvia in the camera, had previously manually set for 200 ISO film and forgot to reset. Developed mormally. I later copied overexposing by two stops, bringing up the contrast and had a print made, submersed the print in water, engraved the color boundries and then copied back to some transparency film.

Love the shapes and colours and the effect this process has on the majority of the fish Steve! Once again its just the hot spots or whiter parts that catch the eye and distract from the rest of the image. If they were toned down this would be perfect! 8) :D

And yet another 3D effect with that background set back M8t. I do remember a couple you had posted on NPN. Amazing colours and lines Steve. Very cleverly done with that technique. Never tried it, so always enjoying seeing this type of work. Nice to know that these are treated before software M8t, thats kinda special IMO.

All the best Steve, a beauty :) :)

Live it! The complementary colors of the water and the fish, along with the impact of the fish details is spellbinding.
