One day, I saw the aloe plant. I experimented with the then new to me NIkon 80-200 f2.8, wide open, probably an N90. film forgotten and lost in the process of mohlerization. Shortly thereafter, my father passed away. I used this image on the card sent out in rememberance since he had planted the plant many years ago and I had not noticed it till then. It has special meaning to me.
