This is not my bird. The BG is. :D Beautiful bird, huh?

I used the polygonal lasso 3 different times. But it would quit on me right before I was through each time. Went to Photo Impact and used the magic lasso. I got an error message after a while and it shut down on me. I went back to PS and tried a few other things. Last of all, I burned the area outside of the bird and then used the background eraser. And did a lot of cloning. Oh, the BG is from PhotoImpact.

"Floating" is a song by The Moody Blues.

Thank you, Moon Child!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

I'm sure the camera that shot this bird is a Canon. :D

Proud of you Lisa!!!!!

Got to love that background
I know it could be frustating finding your ways around a program, but don't be sorry, that's how you get to know them and understand them, and the experience is your to keep

Thanks for all the work you went through for us, it is much appreciated.
Great job 8) 8)

Great of him to lend you this one Lisa. Nice cutting work and a great star in blue. Hmmm, never had that problem in Photoimpact, I thought it was Photoshop that was doing that. I wonder if it is a memory problem Lisa. Do you know if you have a separate graphics card or not ???, or is it built onto the mother board ???. Just thinking out loud here is all.

Anyway, back to this work. Keep them coming, going great guns Lisa :)

Awesome Lisa, and exceptionally creative 8) 8) 8)

Love the colors and pose :D :D :D

BTW, if you want to try a great program for cutting out images, they dont get much better than Extensis Mask Pro 3, free trial at extensis.com It's a little pricey but gets the job done. If you do try it, make sure to use the chisel after you cut it out, fast and easy to eliminate any halo effect if ther is one.
Just havin' fun
