Very nice shot. The only nit I have about this is that it would be nice if the bottom of the frame were lit just a little more. Other than that, I love the picture.

The shadow on the bottom does detract, for me. . .(I like 'em easy.)
OK, I've read enough of your posts, so I'll bite; Was the shadow intentionally included to create a tension, or even intentionally created?

the short answer is...yes.

the long answer is...the shadow was there, but, i must confess, i helped it along in ps.

being an old photographic war horse and having spent 8.637 zillion hours in the darkroom, i come from the edge/corner burn school of print making. it's a time honored device used to draw the viewer's eye into the center of the image. some think it also lends a bit of "mystery" to an image.

your bite didn't hurt at all, but, with the current fear of WOMD, should i get a tetanus shot?
