Took the shot and then off into photoshop to do some experimenting. Not very familiar with photoshop as far as working other than just playing around but I like the outcome. Open to any suggestions good or bad.

Welcome to DC TL!!!!!

It's a striking burst of colors!!!!!!
Despite being a bull'es eye compsotion, it works for me here, maybe because of the slight displacement of the center of the flower.
Very attractive image and I hope you stay with us and get more comfortable with PS.

Congratulations :)

Nice cut for the black background, that aways appeals to my old eyes. Nice lighting in this , be interesting to play around with textures and different lighting effects from PS. Its a golden orange this one and that tends to lend itself to lighting effects.

All the best and keep them coming :D

Big Welcome !!!!! Do like the image with the black bg pops up well !!! Would suggest trying to make the center more yellow to have a focus point ? Everything else looks fine !!!! This is addictive

Thanks for posting !!!!! 8) 8) 8)

Beautiful colour tone against that black BG. As Danny says, it would be a great image to play around with using different lights and textures, and also different colour shades. You could have many different images from this one! 8) 8) 8) :D

The picture is excellent by itself and if you really want to start playing with filters in PS there's a whole batch of them you could use on this, like distort, skew, lighting effects and many more, it's great fun and a way to learn about the endless possibilities of PS. Well done TLB,
Monique
