Danny asked for a Puffin!

I didn't know what to do so I did some selective desaturating and lighting effects.

The lighting effects work well Greg. These are my all time favourite birds and I loved seeing them on your site, years ago. Thats why I asked of course. This one is like a painting Greg and thats what its all about IMO. Whats interesting with the vignetted type lighting effect, is that it pulls you to the eye. that I find rather neat M8t.

Short story for ya. :D  . I would have been about 25 when I read a book and saw a shot about a nature photographer taking shots of Puffin's. This guy was hanging on a rope off a cliff, 200 feet up :D . the shots were fantastic !!!. So, when I see someone say, how do I become a true professional nature photographer, I always remember that shot of the guy hanging by a thread. Then I think to myself, do you really want to be a pro 8) or do you just want to take what you want. Two different things huh :D

Thats what your Puffin shots reminded me of ya see, thats why I fell in love with those shots in your gallery. There is no other bird like it IMHO. So now you know M8t.

All the best Greg, nice work and guess what. I'm a confessed Puffinholic :) :)

Danny.
