Smoke on the water.......Fire in the sky, who else but Deep Purple :D

The Carnation stamen macro with the light cut through a crystal prism, mirrored, flaming pear with flood and sky effects, Photoimpact for the smoke and frame.

All the best folks :D . I must be an old rocker 8)

Danny.

I guess that makes three old rockers then M8t!! and the only time it causes me any concern is when we're driving along at speed, with the Audi vibrating to the CD sound system - and Dave starts playing 'Air Guitar'

I love this one Danny, and so creative to mimic the sheet music symbols with your beloved Carnation stamens! :D

The colours through the prism and the misty reflections complement the swirls beautifully. A wonderful artwork! So clever....So clever. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) :D :D :D :D :D

LOL, seems a few rockers hang out here. Must be something in the air tonight

Carol, tell Dave, to Keep ya eyes on the road and ya hands upon the wheel and I'm glad you spotted the resemblance of the stamen and the music .

Ah Mike, I have a purple Haze one, but its getting old and tired, so a new one might be in order M8t. :D

Thanks you two. :D

That reminds me, must visit the RoadHouse again :) :)

In my case it's usually eyes on the road and knees upon the wheel

Gorgeous image as usually Danny.

This is killer and a lot closer to me (family of musicians here, even my son has a band and teaches music for a living  )

This is both vibrant and soft, I guess the flood effect brings peace to the dynamic twirls of the flower (what was the word again?) stamen 8) 8) 8)

You are a genius!!!!!!!

(Add 2 more old rockers to the list  )

Another very interesting composite with cool effects.

(As long as we're all not old, AND ready for the rocker -- doing all right.)

You are a master in the world of creativity Danny!

I will only start to worry about that creativity when you create a piece with a Britney Spears song in mind!!!

Love it, Danny!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D Brings back good and smokey memories! :D

I was eight years old when my aunt bought my 10 year old sister, "Meet the Beatles," when it first came out. There's another old rocker here!

Love the creativity and attention to Detail M8t

BTW, what is Photoimpact, is that a PS type of software?

As always Danny, :) :) :)

Thanks again folks. Its a wonder NSN is left standing with all the rockers in here 8) :D

Mike. Photoimpact is similar but different than Photoshop. I switched over from Photoshop to Photoimpact a few years ago, mainly because of the faster work flow. Its about twice the size of PS CS which I also have, just don't us it as much now Mike. It takes all standard PS plugins as well, so its pretty versatile and the filters that are built in, run into thousands which are all adjustable. Don't get me wrong, PS is excellent, I was using it last night for perspective work to see how it goes for the next motif :D

All the best Mike and its just that it suits me M8t :D
