My photographs aim at being true, not at being beautiful because, what is true is most often beautiful.

Sometimes I feel like I spend too much time thinking about your images, Mark. Here I'm just going to say I like it. Your triptychs are always my favorite.

My first thought is that the left two panels are hard to read as "water" and the addition of the right panel with the dam is the only way I can truly read it as water and reflection. Then there's the duality of the sky in the water with the branches growing out of it, and the generally busy nature of the sticks going every which way. Finally there's the three main vertical bunches, one in each panel - the middle bunch in the middle of the center panel - while the entire thing is split into a more classic third by the red/gold grasses in the upper BG.

Anyway, that's what I get right off - I'll come back to it after I get some work done :)
