Bonanza Falls, Porcupine Mountains State Park, Michigan (UP); Oct. 5, 2003

D100, 24-120 @ 24mm; f/22, 1/6 sec.

Kerry, i really like your comp here and SS. If i may offer one very minor nit it would be the u/r and the clutterd branches atop the falls.

Yeah, I agree completely. I didn't see that clutter when I was composing this shot (probably a combination of the D100's 94% viewfinder and my own carelessness). I certainly DID notice it when I was processing the image, but I'm not sure I can crop it out without wrecking the entire photo, but I'll go back and take another look.

I've got that same crap in the URC of my images too. At least you got a bit of overcast light. Nice none the less.

Kerry, I feel like my feet are getting wet just looking at this. The way the water converges from several angles is really neat. I wonder if you could clone some of the green vegetation over the clutter in the upper right.

Very nice image. I might crop the top as the floiage while nice is not a necessary element.
