I gave my wife some rose bushes for Mother's Day and this is one of them (Jackson & Perkins "Elle"). I was testing my latest lens setup, a Sigma 70-200 f2.8 with a matching 2x TC, and wanted to see what kind of detail it would produce. I'm pretty pleased with it.

Nikon D70, Sigma 70-200mm w/ 2x TC (270mm), f10 at 1/60 sec, ISO 400, ambient light, crop to square (approx).

Comments always welcome

The colors are great, so is the detail at center- I'd say the lens passes the test.
