Bent Trillium
20D, 100 Macro, ISO400, Fill flash

I believe this is my first post on this forum. I found this Bent Trillium, at a local park, along with some large flowered trilliums while looking for Virginia Bluebells.
All comments and critique appreciated.

And a very nice first post in this forum too Satie! Welcome girl!! :)
This is great, with very nice depth shown that gives the flower some seperation from the background in a very pleasing way.
The whites are not cooked in the petals and you can see the veining within, which at times is not very easy to get.
My only "minor" nit(s) would be the clipped leaf on the left, maybe to raise the flower up higher in the frame just a little bit, and possibly a "ever so slight" boost in contrast (maybe levels/curves), but not to much as to blow the whites out in the petals.

Hey Satie, .................. I sure like it!!! 8)
Hope you have some more to show us all, and thanks for posting this beauty!

Welcome the Flora and Macro fourm.
This is a wonderful first post. The whites are well behaved and the composition is very nice. Very well done.
