 Out of all the butterflies at the local butterfly house this was my very favorite. As far as I could tell this was the only Autumn Leaf Butterfly in the butterfly house and it was only present one of the several days I visited this past summer. I would never have noticed this single butterfly if it had not landed on my shoulder and then flown up to rest upon the large pink flower it's perched upon in this shot. At 5'5" I was not nearly tall enough to reach the flower to compose a prettier shot. I had to stand on my tiptoes and reach for this one.  I'm mostly posting this because I think the butterfly is really cool. All comments are welcome. Thanks for looking! Laura Stiefel
