I photographed this adult bobcat as it wandered atop the wet aspen leaves; a better setting I could not envision.

1D, 70-200IS, 1/125 @ f/4

Where's the meadow vole that should be in his mouth??? How could an experienced photographer like yourself forget about the meadow vole??? Better luck next time! :lol:

Wow, what a beautiful animal, and perfect setting.

I knew I was going to turn green when you guys started posting shots from that trip. I had decided to do that workshop instead of Jasper,before my career change.... Maybe next time.

Very nice too bad the leaves are not behind the head. That way it would standout a little more.

This one's a keeper. I only wish the cat had its ears up a bit more to give it a more alert pose. Not a nit at all, just a preference. I can't imagine a better composition and bg.
