Played around in the backyard with the D2x today. Wanted to check out the AF-C operation. I must say that I don't think there is anything wrong with mine. This thing is tack sharp at f/4.

This guy has been very illusive the past few weeks, I can always here him singing his "sweet sweet Canada Canada Canada" but I could never find him. I seem to have gotten lucky today.

Thanks for looking

Good luck with the new camera and I'm sure that you'll be as happy with yours as all of the others.

Very nice. I would crop some off the bottom to a more squarish crop. Sharp indeed with the 200-400VR. :D

Beautiful light and nice pose showing off those yellow lores. Agree on the crop suggestion. A horizontal may also have worked well here.

What a sweet bird (just discovered one in my backyard last week!). I would also crop a little...I know you are enjoying your new camera!
