Hi all, back from a 3 day workshop with Tony Sweet up the pocono mountains in P.a. Unfortuanitly the weather was mostly cloudy and it rained a little bit also. We did have one day with some o.k light as the sun peaked out for a brief momment to tease us all. But as you know theres always something to shoot regardless.

With this image here i had the guidence of Tony, and i must say he's an incredible instucter and one heck of a nice guy. Very down to earth and id highly recommend a workshop with him to anyone considering.

With that said, id appreciate any and all comments very much.

Thanks for viewing,
robert......

Very nicely done - I especially like the drop of water.

Well done, Robert. There are interesting textures and patterns to look at here, and good colors, too.

Lovely fall photo. Glad the workshop was so successful even if the weather did not cooperate.

This is very nice .. shows me I have to to look harder when I'm not seeing anything around me.

Cheers

Strongly opposing light and dark diagonals and contrasting cool and warm colors catch my eye. I like this a lot. What was a specific suggestion that made you choose this particular composition??

Nicely done. More inspiration to look a little closer and think a little broader.

Thanks all!

Juli, i seen this little scene after shooting another one. I chose the comp as it is here because of the diagnol lines in the rock compared to the leafs direction. Wasnt set up, just nature at work :D

Thanks again gang,
robert..........

Robert, very nice! I like the muted colors of the lichen and pine needles. The wet maple leaf really sets it off. Part of me wants to see this rotated, with the leaf at the bottom and the needles pointing more to the top.
