Nothing spectacular here, but I liked the way this fern was growing in the hole at the base of this tree. If I remember correctly, I used a reflector to lighten up the dark shadows in the hole. This seemed to lose alot of detail in the fern and mossy bark during compression. Photo taken near Montrose, PA.
Equipment: Nikon F4, 105 macro, 81A filter, tripod. Velvia @ 40, 1/2 sec at f/8. Thanks for looking. Tom
