Soon the butterfly bush flowers will turn brown and I will no longer have the oportunity to enjoy the butterflies in my back yard. Oddly the butterflies have been much more colorful this year and appeared later in the season. I had not seen this species before. They seem to come late in the day and are very active. Out of several shots I only had 1 keeper and it has some movement in the forward wing.
