Being a Left-Coaster all my life I have only experienced Autumn a few times. One of the things I like best is walking on all the crunchy fallen leaves. This is from last week's UP trip near Munising. One red maple tree had dropped most of its leaves in this spot and the color was fabulous. I suppose this could be more of a Landscape - more foliage close-ups from this spot to follow!
Canon D30, 16-35 at 16mm, iso200, cropped a bit from top, tripod.

Nicely composed. These leaves were a little too freshly fallen to be really crunchy but the colors were amazing. You inspired me to post one of mine from this same location. Well done on this one!

Nice job and I really like the comp. The upside down leaves catch my eye and lead me to the back of the frame for more color, like a path as you mentioned.... Good work.

Nice one Cindy. I too like walking the 'crunchy' paths in the fall. Good choice of lenses here.

I get a nice feel of how the colors flow and work their way towards the back.

Beautful photo, Cindy. I really like how the red fallen leaves surround the bright yellow tree, and how the line leads up into the frame.

This is a nice perspective but I think cropping to above the yellow leaved sapling will help your image.

Very nice - I would reduce the blue just a bit.

Red Jack Lake Saturday AM. I wandered up the path the opposite way to where everyone was shooting and found this one spot with red leaves dropped. It was wonderful- but most everyone was gone when I came back to say something!
