Butterfly House, Whitehouse Ohio

Sony DSC-S75, 1/60, f/2.3, ISO 100, +2/3

I kept trying for a perfect specimen of this species with no luck. This is the prettiest individual I was able to find. It sat still for one full second before fluttering off to higher perches. All comments are welcome. Thanks for looking. :)

This one is pretty close to perfect and its a beautiful photo. +1/3 might have been a little better than +2/3 but it's excellent as is.

BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The composition rocks also. THe LR flowers lead to the centered butterfly and it works so well! The only nit might be the whites are slightly hot, but it does not matter. Impressive shot.

Nice colors- especially the purple flowers.

You might be able to tone down the whites a bit.

You must have a season pass to this place- or you're a part owner by now! Looks like a great place to get good shots.

Beautiful butterfly and capture, just a little to bright for me
Monique, I am packed and ready to go, I may not look like much but I am well behaved and can grow on you like a fungus, with no cure for it!!!

Simply beautiful. I'll take your word it's not a perfect subject but it looks darn close to me.
