Everglades deer

As we were getting into the park, we saw a pair of these and got out of the car and took some shots. They were as curious about us as we were about them, not spooked or worried. Enjoy!!!

Difficult side lighting handled well Fabiola! Fill flash would have helped with more detail in the shadow side, but I see there was no time and you captured a nice browsing pose and good composition here. 8) 8) 8) :D

I like the behavior captured here, always better than a static pose. I also like how the sticks go up into the corner and that you did not clip them off.. I might clone out the one straggler stick on the frame edge..good work

I'm jealous. I've only seen them once and at anhina during high water...too far to get a good shot....

you seem to attract all the cool critters out there... :P

If you come back now with a Florida Panther close up...I'll eat my CF card
