In the continuing informal series of anemonefish, here is the Amphiprion clarkii, perhaps the most commonly encountered anemonefish at the Pacific destinations I have visited. They also come in a black phase where the body's base color is black. This is again from my Deceber-January Philippines trip, shot at Boracay Is. Clarkii can also be aggressive when defending their anamone, but not always. This is a daytime shot but shot at f22 to give a black background. I could have cloned out some of the backscatter but I like a little of it to prove it is not a cutout.
Nikon D-100, Nexus D-100 housing, Sigma 28-135 Macro Zoom, two YS-120 Sea and Sea YS-120 strobes shot Manula Exposure @ 1/2 power with diffusers.

Woody this is the FIRST evidence of any backscatter in any of you guys images   Do agree with you 8)

For a while I thought there was a new strobe system that would eliminate the problem

Very pretty pose and tack Sharp !!!! 8) 8)

Spectacular shot! I also loved the one you posted the other day - the frontal shot with the mouth open.
