Spruce Head Island, Maine (8/12/02)
1/400, f7.1 (Canon G2)

One of my many "accidental" shots ... I naively thought the late morning fog was too thick, and that nothing interesting would come of it. This shot has turned out to be the one that I get the most requests for.

I would be interested in all constructive criticism. Sorry I am so late with this one -- just under the wire.

Thanks,

-Russ

Hi Russ. I think this has a very nice serene feel to it. I think you've done an excellent job positioning the two boats and their reflections. I especially like the touch of the red buoy (?) and it's reflection. I'm not sure how you feel about cloning out the two white specs in the distance or the splotch behind the distant boat but I don't think they are adding much to the composition. Overall a very pretty, serene, and happy "accident"! :)

Nice shot. I would clone out the white spots. Nice reflections.
