Hello NatureScapers...

One last macro shot with the big rig before I get out of here for the next ten days... I will be anxious to catch up with everyone's pictures later next week..

I took this one in early September, when I was on my macro thing..

Have a great week everyone and keep up the excellent posts..

Thanks for looking and any comments or suggestions..

Lovely shot in great light. I like the diagonal comp and the BG is really nice. The butterfly just about glows.

Bautiful, I like how it goes together with the color of the BG.

Light on the butterfly really does seem to make it glow and the black around the edges sets if off very nicely from the background. Very impressive "macro thing."

Very, very nice, Dennis. Colors and composition work wonderfully here, and the details in the monarch and flower are superb!

Beautiful - I love the butterfly and the flower. I think another stop smaller on the aperture and the flower would be as sharp as the butterfly.

The light and the background makes it seem to jump off the screen - beautiful image!
