Nice pose Katy. Difficult lighting conditions... the overall image looks a little dark on my laptop screen, however any more exposure and you would have totally blown out the bird's crown. One of those "damned if you do, damned if you don't" photographic situations! Gorgeous bird. :)

Looks a bit dark to me as well (is there a halo around it?). Nice composition and pose though!
